I do not:
Have a PlayNC account
Want a PlayNC account
Have ever made a PlayNC account
Nor have had my accounts linked to ANY PlayNC account

Two weeks ago, my friends list was "offline" for a short brief moment.
Two weeks ago, my account was normal & fine, unlinked to any PlayNC account.

Today, my account has been mysteriously linked to an unkown PlayNC account...

My question to you...Has this happened to you?

I have - Reported a question to PlayNC ask a question form
- Wrote a brief email to PlayNC support requesting if this is a bug.

Report it to Anet and Move anything you have at the moment that you dont use onto a mule account just in case.

You sure about this? I entered a store many, many times and my account isn't linked to PlayNC account...Well last time I checked.
Well have to check that again I guess, but it's really unbelivable to me for that to happen, since Abnormai said he doesnt know pass or name of the account.
And for the op all you can do is wait and see.

no, your account doesn't get linked to a plaync account just because you enter the store. however, you need to create a plaync account and link it with your gw account in order to buy something from the ingame store.

I have no idea what my a-net master account info is either, i dont remember making one. Whenever I try to get the info, A-net asks me for my birth date, all my cd keys, my address, and for the last four digits to my credit card that i purchased prophecies in the in-game store with. Problem is that I only have two of the three cd keys, have no idea what birthday i registered it with (not my own apparently), and the credit card was some visa gift card that I threw away awhile ago. i'm also afraid of being hacked because i cant change my pw. -.-

Friends list being offline is normal, it happens when you reconnect sometimes (been a long time correct me if im wrong) ..

Yes, if you get disconnected and then reconnect it does happen sometimes where your friends list doesn't show up. States you as offline.

It also automatically disconnects you from the friend server if you have been playing for 1 day.

you can also prove to anet who you are if you have a very very old screenshot of a character on your account.. the original file.. don't modify it in anyway.. This way anet can see when it was taken.. yadda yadda ya..

does this work?.. yep.. i couldn't find my last two keycodes i needed since i have two accounts and my husband has one..
